Douglas Fir Hydrosol

Made using the needles and branches of the Pseudotsuga menziesii off. tree, this citrusy hydrosol is more mild and gentle than many others. It has a calming and nurturing effect ideal for keeping at your desk for use during long days on the computer, or on your nightstand for inhaling just before bed. I like to mist this over my girls’ faces as I lay them down for bed in the evening.

I personally wild forage this plant material myself. It is distilled low and slow in small batches.

Ways to use this hydrosol:

-Spritz into a small bowl and mix with a clay, such as Bentonite, to create an at-home face mask or pore cleanser.

-Use to cool irritated or inflamed skin

-Add hydration to skin before apply a facial moisturizer.

-Facial toner

-Mist into your hands or across your face, and breath in deeply as you lie down for bed.

-Mist it into your mask, over your sheets, or across your clothing.

Hydrosols are a combination of aromatic distilled water and plant essential oil collected through a copper alembic still. These are all made by me, by hand, in small batches.

There are no added preservatives, alcohols, emulsifiers, or essential oils. ONLY what comes directly from the plant.
