Happy Father’s Day to the wonderful father(s) in your life. Fathers play such an important role in the family and it’s great to celebrate the ones who have stuck by their family and love us greatly.
I’m super excited to share with you today a special video I did with my husband, Brett, in honor of Father’s Day. I originally planned to create a gift guide, but quickly realized it would make way more sense to get some help from a man. So, I sat down with Brett and had him share with me his current favorite things. I thought this might be a great way to give you ladies ideas of what to get for your man…maybe not for Father’s Day this year, but for his birthday, an anniversary, Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa, or really just any time you’re in need of a gift for a man and you don’t want to buy a tie or cuff links. lol!
In this video Brett shares a mix of his favorite foods, books, YouTube channels, & podcasts. We also share a bit about our family and some inside jokes.
I also thought it would be fun to throw in a little “new dad” trivia. In between him sharing his favorite things, I asked him questions pertaining to life when he was preparing to be a dad for the first time and our labor experience in Puerto Rico. It’s quite funny. I hope you enjoy it.
Here are photos of our farmhouse table that Brett made. It’s definitely one of my favorite things in our house.
Here’s a list of the things we mention in the video:
